Collaborative Learning through Gaming Technology

Collaborative Learning through Gaming Technology

Gamified activity is well-received by learners, considered effective, educational, engaging, and fun.

eMagin Mission

Our mission is to create virtual and brick-and-mortar community centers that harness the power of gaming technology. We invite all community stakeholders to creatively address the “Digital Divide” in a determined, thoughtful manner. Opportunity Zones and various repurposed spaces will be pursued to provide easy access to education and social services. We welcome and encourage your participation in the ambitious eMagin project.

For Whom?

For Children

Combining education and entertainment engages and retains the interest of our youth.

For Adults

For Community

eMagin Centers will be located in safe repurposed spaces and opportunity zones.

Why eMagin?

We bridge the gap.

eMagin reaches out to families who are on the wrong side of the “digital divide” and offers them a way forward by placing eLearning centers in underserved communities.

We build connections.

eMagin will create a safe, culturally resonant environment for learning, networking, and growth.  We intend to use Opportunity Zones and repurposed space to locate our eLearning Centers.

We grow teams.

eMagin will work with the business sector to provide relevant upskilling and reskilling education for young and older adults.

We are what’s next.

The gaming culture has captured the attention of 70% or more of our youth.  We believe that combining school and entertainment is a 21st-century strategy for engaging and retaining our youth’s interests.  The agenda and standards will be set by the eMagin advisory board.

Sociologist Anindya Kundu invites us to take a deeper look at the personal, social, and institutional challenges that keep students from thriving in the United States — and shows how closing this “opportunity gap” means valuing public education for what it really is: the greatest investment in our collective future.
