eMagin Learning & Arts Resource Center is an ambitious project that will give all kids and families a REAL Community Resource.
Too often so-called community centers are outdated, soulless spaces created by backward-looking planners. Our mission is to design a safe inviting place where kids, families, young adults, and seniors can come to network, receive vital services, and be entertained.
Edutainment is a term that perfectly describes eMagin’s secret sauce.
We use gaming tournaments, artistic events, and virtual immersion to attract our target market and keep them engaged. Educating our visitors is certainly a priority; but we are careful to meet them where they are.
Careful attention to ergonomics and the aesthetics of our spaces will make it clear that eMagin is no ordinary place.
Our onboarding greeters “hold the hands” of new visitors and give them personal guided tours. We make special efforts to focus on the disabled/senior demographic and show them our custom accommodations are made especially for them.
Our gaming centers will be staffed by tech-savvy teachers, social workers, community activists and volunteers. We will be a multigenerational resource serving a full range of our community’s demographics.
Our onboarding pods will provide automated assistance via videos and augmented reality tutorials. Our users will receive unique user IDs that will seamlessly link them to our eMagin community and services.
eMagin is both a brick & mortar and cloud-based community.
eMagin is a hub for essential services:
- wellness
- nutritional evaluations
- mental health
- upskilling/reskilling employment training (in collaboration with employers)
- digital literacy training for all generations
- Our “Mothership” admin facilities will create access hubs throughout the community.
- Cultural sensitivity and diversity goals will be implemented by onboarding the very best instructors.
- Partnership with Apples’ Woz U/ADE will provide enormous learning resources and the ability to rapidly upscale.
- Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) program will afford our members the highest quality international educational resources.
